COVID-19 and Returning to the Workplace – Victoria

suzie684

From Monday 30th November, Victorian employees will be permitted to return to the workplace at 25% capacity.

What employers need to do.

1. Complete a COVID Safe Plan or review your existing plan following the DHSS guidelines.

2. Set up a workplace attendance register.

3. Consider splitting teams to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and the impact of self-isolation and illness on employees and your business.

4. Request a copy of any sub-contractors’ COVID Safe Plan to ensure that they are taking the necessary steps to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace.

Employers and employees can also attend free infection control training. This is a 30-hour accredited TAFE course that covers essential skills to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 to themselves, colleagues and customers.

Last Step Restrictions (Victoria) announced on 22nd November 2020.
